When doing my research about purchasing a BestBuy calibration, I stumbled across avsforum.com (where the AVS 709 HD was first developed, methinks) and it was pages like that made me feel BestBuy calibrations may be mediocre. So yes, I have not had a BestBuy calibration and can't say for certainty they don't do an absolutely amazing job; however, the consensus among enthusiasts is that it's mediocre. I can confirm the mediocrity.
