The original webcomic was hand-drawn and published online at during my stay as a teacher, and covers all kinds of topics - from dealing with language barriers to learning how to be an adult. The strip naturally ended with my return to America, and I'm finally ready to assemble my journey as a book. I had an amazing time in Japan with all my adorable students, but creating comics has always been my passion. Now that I'm back in the US, I'm making the transition to full-time comics work!
