Hey Cristen, You may notice it more if you try it side by side in 2017 & 2018? As far as the brush lag, it is not happening consistently for me so I can't name the issue yet. It's not layer size or anything as I've tried the same file in both 2017 and 2018 and it's fantastic in 2017 and annoying in 2018, and it isn't the amount of smoothing either. But currently it's working fine.
